Birla Cellulose
increased its footprint in the China nonwovens market with the
recently concluded SINCE Nonwovens exhibition in China on 12-14
October 2011. The exhibition organized every year in Shanghai,
is the largest in nonwovens in China, and attracts participants
in pulp, fibers, machinery, end product suppliers etc for nonwovens
from all parts of the world.

Birla Cellulose presented its fibres for nonwovens- Birla Purocel,
Birla Spunshades and Birla Excel. Owing to their natural origin,
and distinct properties of softness, skin friendliness and highest
levels of purity and safety with BC’s ICU concept manufacturing,
these fibres are very gentle on skin and therefore suitable
for even the most sensitive skin type. Therefore, Birla Cellulose
presented the theme of a “No-scar World”- Soft, pure
Nature’s Fibres that love every skin. The stall also showcased
BC’s vast global reach to 500 million people across 50
countries. The booth was well appreciated by customers and visitors,
and BC emerged as one of the largest and most impactful participants
in the show.
